Academic Tour 2023 – 2024
Two very important places, Raman Science Center and Neeri, were selected for the educational field trip by the students of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Ordnance Factory, Chanda during the session 2023 – 2024.
As soon as the names of Raman Science Center and NEERI were mentioned, the enthusiasm of the students and parents in the school was visible.
Under PM Shri Yojana, all the students from class 6th to class 12th were selected for educational tour. High quality buses were arranged for all the students.
At Raman Science Centre, all the happenings of science are depicted with the help of automated models here.
To understand all the phenomena of science, separate arrangements were made to guide along with the systematic models. If something was not understood then some officers were also appointed.
Here our students studied the real model of railway engine, production of electricity, different methods of storing water, solar eclipse, lunar eclipse, detailed study of the galaxy, changes in nature, all the events happening in our daily life. Seen from the viewpoint of science. The attraction of the planetarium show is still present in the eyes of the students. The phenomenon of fusion in the Sun and detailed information about the solar system was shown while looking at the sky, all the students were surprised to see such a wonderful show.
After Raman Science Centre, all the students will get C.S.I.R. Laboratory of Neeri, where all the students were given information about the entire laboratory through a documentary. After that, students were taken to different laboratories one by one where they were given information about the research work being done on water purification.After that, information was also given about new technology to control air pollution in another laboratory. At the end, information about this technology was also given in a laboratory where oil paint was being made from used polythene.
In this way, under PM Shri Yojana, students have received a lot of information and are continuously receiving it.
