PM SHRI Schools
PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Ordnance Factory Chanda was declared PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya during the session 2023-24. This school is working towards fully realizing the National Education Policy-2020 under the PM Shri Scheme.
- Under the PM Shri scheme, understanding the importance of water in the school, drop by drop irrigation was started. Students got knowledge about irrigation from it so that this knowledge can be used to further improve agriculture in the future.
- A ‘PM Shri Selfie’ point was built near the entrance of the school, which keeps reminding us of the responsibilities of being PM Shri Vidyalaya.
- Various types of clay pottery were made during handicraft skill training. Along with this, the students made folk art paintings by colors.
- Incinerator and Vending machines were installed under the special Nyayasamya Project.
- Under Career Guidance and Counselling, psychological test was conducted online for students of classes 9 to 12 and individual counselling was given based on the test results. Various types of assistive devices were purchased for differently-abled students.
- Teaching learning material was purchased to make learning easier for children of primary classes, resource material was purchased for teachers.
- Science kits and materials of science circle were purchased. Mathematics kits and materials for math circles were purchased.
- Books were bought for the library.
- Sporting goods were purchased.
- Technical materials were purchased to enhance 21st century skills.
- A health camp was organized.
- Expert Talk on Sustainable Development was held.
- Repair work was carried out to upgrade the infrastructure of the school.
- Interactive panels were installed in classrooms to modernize education and interactualize. Self defence training was organized for the girls.
